Community Programs

Pair

WAYS Community Programs offer flexible, trauma-informed and individualized supports to children and youth who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioural difficulties or complex challenges in London and Chatham-Kent.

Crisis and Intake Team

Provides youth age 13 to 18 and their families in crisis with the help they need, when they need it. Telephone support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (including holidays).

London Community Youth Support Program

This program provides a variety of services, tailored to each youth’s individual needs. Supports for youth 13 to 18 years of age may include:

  • Counselling and mental health support
  • Help obtaining food, shelter and clothing
  • Advocacy and referrals to community services as needed
  • Access to the WD Sutton Alternative School Program Residential
  • A variety of groups for youth and parents
  • Supper Club for current and past WAYS clients

Provides immediate crisis support to children and youth up to 18 years of age, and their families.

Increases the capacity to manage further crisis and helps access formal and informal supports.

Telephone support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (including holidays).

This program provides a variety of services, tailored to each child or youth’s individual needs. Supports for youth 18 years old and under may include:

  • Counselling and mental health support to children, youth and their families
  • Help obtaining food, shelter and clothing
